“Purificación” Muestra Colectiva

Desde hace tres años NOMEVOY colabora activamente con el Festival Art Nou dando visibilidad a sensibilidades performáticas y acciones que visibilizan identidades, comunidades y pensamientos ocultos. 

En esta ocasión NOMEVOY presenta La ciudad saludable: 5 acciones que cuestionan las dinámicas de convivencia en los entornos urbanos. La naturaleza de cada una de las acciones encuentra su origen en la lavandería Merlín (Carrer de Vigatans, 2) situada en el barrio del Born. 

Las lavanderías a día de hoy son lugares privados de uso público, donde de forma automatizada y anónima se lava ropa. Las acciones que se presentan se enmarcan en torno a las lógicas de lo limpio, lo higiénico, aquello que es puro e impuro. 

En el marco de Art Nou 2023, NOMEVOY organiza una muestra audiovisual que desplaza la experiencia del cine al aire libre al espacio de la lavandería Merlín. Las piezas se proyectarán sobre una sábana colgada en el exterior de la lavandería, que al secar irá cambiando la forma de la proyección y jugando con su materialidad.

En este sentido, abrimos una convocatoria para obras audiovisuales de corta duración (cortometrajes, video-arte, ensayos audiovisuales, etc.) vinculados a los ejes centrales de La ciudad saludable y al concepto de lavar, en sus distintas interacciones: cosas, cerebro, virus, cuerpo, sin remuneración, sociedad, dinero, conciencia, historia…

Así mismo, animamos a todos aquellas personas que quieran colaborar en el proyecto con la aportación de reflexiones y pensamientos escritos en torno a la convivencia en las ciudades: aspectos positivos y negativos de vivir en los espacios urbanos. Las frases tendrán como máximo 140 caracteres.

  Convocatoria abierta 

Se valorará positivamente todas aquellas frases que traten temas  en torno a lo limpio, lo higiénico, aquello que es puro e impuro.

Los archivos deben enviarse, con buena calidad o a través de un enlace We Transfer  al correo [email protected]. En el asunto del email deberá constar el nombre de la convocatoria: “Purificación,  Muestra Colectiva”. Cada propuesta que se mande deberá estar acompañada de la ficha técnica de la obra. Fecha límite: 20 de agosto.

La proyección tendrá lugar el día 26 de agosto a las 19:30 horas en la lavandería Merlín (Carrer dels Vigatans 2, Barcelona). Las obras seleccionadas serán anunciadas el 23 de agosto.

«Purification» Collective Exhibition

For three years NOMEVOY has been actively collaborating with the Art Nou Festival, giving visibility to performative sensibilities and actions that make hidden identities, communities and thoughts visible.

On this occasion, NOMEVOY presents The healthy city: 5 actions that question the dynamics of coexistence in urban environments. The nature of each of the actions finds its origin in the Merlín laundry (Carrer de Vigatans, 2) located in the Born district.

Laundromats today are private places for public use, where clothes are washed automatically and anonymously. The actions that are presented are framed around the logic of what is clean, what is hygienic, what is pure and impure.

Within the framework of Art Nou 2023, NOMEVOY organizes an audiovisual exhibition that brings the experience of open-air cinema to the space of the Merlín laundry. The pieces will be projected onto a sheet hung outside the laundry room, which, when it dries, will change the shape of the projection and play with its materiality.

In this sense, we open a call for short audiovisual works (short films, video-art, audiovisual essays, etc.) linked to the central axes of The healthy city and the concept of washing, in its different interactions: things, brain, virus, body, without remuneration, society, money, conscience, history…

Likewise, we encourage all those people who want to collaborate in the project with the contribution of reflections and written thoughts about coexistence in cities: positive and negative aspects of living in urban spaces. Phrases will have a maximum of 140 characters.

Open call

All those phrases that deal with issues around what is clean, hygienic, what is pure and impure will be valued positively.

The files must be sent, with good quality or through a We Transfer link to the email [email protected] The subject of the email must include the name of the call: «Purification, Collective Show». Each proposal that is sent must be accompanied by the technical sheet of the work. Deadline: August 20.

The screening will take place on August 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Merlín laundry (Carrer dels Vigatans 2, Barcelona). The selected works will be announced on August 23.
